ABOUT

I'm Conor Staveley, a film composer based in Los Angeles. I've composed a number of films including one feature film. I graduated from Berklee College of Music with a degree in Screen Scoring, and I've been fascinated by the relationship between music and storytelling for as long as I can remember the way a single chord can shift how you feel about a scene,  or how rhythm can make a moment land harder than any line of dialogue.

 

My background started in drums, which gave me an instinct for timing and groove that I carry into every composition, whether that's a full orchestral score or a stripped-back piano piece. I love working across styles and genres, and my work has spanned short films, video games, and sync placements.
